“UW Coal Alternatives Campaign”
Coal is one of the most environmentally problematic fuel we currently use. From production to burning to disposal, it leads to a plethora of hazards. This site is dedicated to the campaign to reduce the use of coal, control its emissions, and eventually eliminate the use of coal from the University of Wisconsin campuses, as well as all State of Wisconsin power plants, and most immediately at the Eau Claire, Stout, and LaCrosse campuses.
